  My father took a U-bilt flatdeck trailer in for an ICBC certification. He was told the charge would be $110 for the certification. We dropped the trailer off early in the morning expecting to pick it up that afternoon. They were not finished till the next morning and the bill was $341.28. Unlike other places that do certification they added an extra charge of $49.50 to apply the VIN decal, a job that takes about 2 minutes. They also charged an extra $89.10 for labour and $36.68 for parts to apply reflective tape which was not required on this trailer. They did not call to authorize any of this work as they had written my father's phone number down incorrectly. I had researched and found on the MVB website and the Federal website that tape was not required, but in any event, it would only take about 20 minutes to stick some tape on. I asked for the owner to call me so we could discuss this bill, but I have not heard from him. I would not recommend dealing with this company.
